Progress Table

Hey guys, I'd like to do my bit to help out any confusions so I've added a link on the right (very subtly between Followers and Blog Archive) to the progress chart. If you could post on the blog or email me at jo.fong[at]yahoo.com.au whenever a book arrives or when you send a book off, I can keep it up to date (to the minute!!!)

And with me being an Aussie don't bother telling me that the date format is wrong because I won't believe you!

Feeling out of touch with the group?

There is a an unfortunate limitation to Blogger that effects communication in the moly_x_portrait groups. Comment notification only allows ten email addresses. Our portrait groups have 15 members, so 5 people miss out on email notifications of comments left on this blog.

Go to upper right of blog, select customize>settings>comments>and scroll down to comment notification email if you are wondering if your email address made it on the list. If you didn't make it on the list, please try to read the blog regularly. Also, if someone could set this group up with cBox, this would be a helpful communication tool. To check it out go to moly_x_portrait1 and scroll down to the bottom of the page. I can't do it. Only one free cBox per email address.

FYI: All of the group's email addresses are available to the group through customize>settings>permissions, in case someone wants to do a group email.

deadlines deadlines deadlines

Hey folks

I'm just letting you know my situation at the moment which possibly may delay the three moleys I have recently had in my possession. Currently I have only 3 weeks of uni to go till I finish for the summer (hurray) though bad news is I will be very very very busy re-doing and handing in my uni work during those 3 weeks (tight deadlines).

I will be having to do uni work full time on this so I wont be able to do any work on Sherrie Roberts, Kelley Frisby's and Elvia's molies i have. I just wondered - is anyone out there that hasn't had a moley to work on and wont be for some time? I can send one or two out. I'd feel bad sitting on all three.

I've tried contacting Albina as she's not had a single one but she has yet to respond. Anyone got her email, know how to contact her?

Spring cleaning. *cough*

Let me know what I can do to help. I am finally giving the portrait groups a little overdue attention. I have given 4 & 5 a week to get their business in order. Anyone who fails to respond (unless they have books in their possession) will be retired, to make way for one of many other interested artists. Shall we do the same here? One week.

Please remind me, who has not been communicating? Who has not been a responsive participant? Who has not be a good boy or girl scout? Please send a Flickr mail to me. Fortunately, moly_x_portrait does not require a certain order. Just keep moving the books along as best you can. Also fortunately, other people can be added (and dropped) without complicating things too much. I'm sure I can help, Me and my international squad of strong armed goons.

Shambolics

Hey Kids,

In light of the small amount of shambles that is occurring with this swap, I'd like to update the nerd table again. If you could edit this post by adding yourself under my name and tell me whose moly's you have currently and which ones you've just sent I could try and keep track of them again.

Also perhaps Rose could mail Kelley's, Rose's and Sherrie Robert's moly's to Albina when she is done? Or would that confuse the issue even more?

*Jo Fong - Have Rose's and Sherri Donlon's.
*Kelley Frisby - No molies received none sent since Glaucia's.

*Sara Yurt- Sent my original, currently have Jo's.  Have NOT received Boz's original.
*Rose Hudson - I have just received 3 (yes thats THREE!!!) molies in the post today from Sherrie Roberts. So that's Kelley Frisby's moley, Sherrie Roberts moley and Elvia's moley I now have. Luckily I've got a week off uni so I might as well make my entry in each one and send them off to the right person which is Albina, right? :)

Albina, Please don't let this bother you! This is a horrible representation of your actual appearance. But since it is "art" I had fun with it rather than try to do a photo realistic type of drawing. I'm going to lay this out on the table, friends. I, really, am not trying to offend anyone. My motives when I'm drawing is to have fun and produce something that I find interesting. Is that selfish? Perhaps it is. My stubborn attitude may very well push my art career to an early demise. Bummer, but I gotta enjoy doing the artwork or I'll burn out. Later homies.

Jo's moly part 2

Done!  there's just one thing:  i feel bad about how the fish are swimming in front of Jo's eyes.  the thing was, i did the fish first b/c i needed to erase the pencil sketches of them after i did the color.  i didn't want to be erasing parts of jo's face when i did so.  obviously, i miscalculated the placement of everything.  Jo, i'm really sorry and i hope you're not upset!

i'll have this in the mail to Glaucia soon!

I haven't seen any posts for a bit, and no journals have come my way. Of course, I've been "sickern a dawg" (as my dad used to say) for over a month.
