(I've had a headache since yesterday so my mind's a little fuzzy ... can't think straight so can't think what to type!!!)

Got off me butt this week and finished another Moly X Portait 3 entry after having Sherri's book for a few solid months ...
Her theme is pencil and pixels so I made a little 8-bit Sherri and made myself up in pencil. I'm not wearing my glasses here as I'm not supposed to wear them for 'close up' stuff like reading and computer work hence the slight squinting as well.
And not to advertise but once you go Wacom, you can never go back (at least not me!)

2 new Moly portraits done

Lots happened since my last post. But about the images...
the first one turned out ok and was fun to do, especially the Corvette!!

The next one didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. Plus, you can't see the colors in the scan. I painted the dress and her gloves with "Interference" by Golden. It changes colors depending on how you hold it. So her dress changes to pink and gloves to blue. Fun stuff...

We got back from a 3 week trip to Germany a couple of weeks ago, I'll write about that in my next blog. It was a fabulous trip!! I'm ready to go back!

Yeah, I'm confused. Nothing new there...
I currently have Elvia and Kelley's books. I'm almost done with them and was planning to send them off to Rose (who is the next on the list) but realized Rose has already had them.

Ok, now where do I send them?? Just pick a name on the list who hasn't seen them yet? 'sigh'...

Sorry, it's hotter than blue-blazes here today and I'm cranky. (Nothing new there either!)

I am here to share really exciting news -- TWO!!!! moly books arrived today from Rose: one belonging to Kelly and one belonging to Elvia. I am pretty eager to get started, since this is the first time I get to have a turn at someone's moly other than my own. Give me a few days, and we should have this moving, once again!!!!!!!!!

A THIRD moly arrived from Gordon today and I felt awful guilty about not having done anything for this group for so long. So I managed to slay the procrastination monster, gave myself a good kick up the bum and just got down to it.

I'm not all that religious but I found a fortune cookie slip on my desk at Spanish class that said "God has given you one face, you make yourself another" and *BAM* I knew my destiny! (Or Rose's Moly's destiny ;D)

Unfortunately, I confused myself with the masks thing and drew the wrong jumpers on the wrong person! Mine was sposed to be the grey and purple one (which I was wearing whilst drawing this!) and Rose's the red sweater (which I appropriated from one of her photos). Ah well ...

A thin layer of gesso really helped control the watercolour from destroying the paper!
